Chick-Fil-A

Quite frankly I really don't see what the big deal is with the CEO expressing his personal views on gay marriage. It's no secret he is a Christian and has built the business on Biblical principles. Did you really think he would support gay marriage? Really? He has a right to express his religious beliefs. This is America. If it's offensive to you then you have a right  to eat some where else. I don't know about you but I would have a hard time giving up Chick-Fil-A. Chick-fil-a is a successful business that has plenty to offer.

I am not a big fan of fast food but I do enjoy a quick meal from Chick-Fil-A occasionally. They do offer gluten-free options that are healthy. The Chargrilled Chicken Salad, yogurt parfait, side salad, fruit cup and more. I do love those waffle fries too. They are fried in a separate fryer so there is no chance of cross-contamination.

Good reasons to eat at Chick-Fil-A

  • They offer gluten-free choices that are tasty and healthy.
  • The salads are fresh every time!
  • If you are an employee you never have to work Sundays.
  • They come to your table and offer to refill your drink.
  • They offer family friendly events.
  • You won't find more friendly staff anywhere else!
  • Every location I have been to is clean!
  • Chick-Fil-A has awarded over $30 million in college scholarships
  • Cathy founded the Winshape Foundation *learn more here

    1. You are right, it's not over the chicken at all although I do enjoy it very much. It's about freedom of speech! It's about being able to freely make choices. According to your article you were raised in the church and seemed to be well educated did you think Chick-Fil-A would support gay marriage?

Keep in mind this hatred that you speak of in your article is definitely not being carried out by Christians. As I am sure you already know not all who claim to be Christians really are. People that commit such hateful acts of violence are very far from the God that I know.

God ordained marriage to be between a man and woman to be fruitful and multiply. How does one justify marrying someone of the same gender? They cannot have children together. If they adopt they(two males)cannot give the proper motherly nurturing that every child needs, just as two women cannot give the fatherly attention the children need. God loves people and wants to them to be in a right relationship with Him. In order to have a right relationship with Him we must stick to Biblical principles.

      Romans 1:24-28
      New International Version (NIV)
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
